Berlin

Berlin is the capital of Germany, and is one of sixteen states of Germany and is Germany's largest city. It is the second populated city and the eighth populated urban district within in the European Union. Berlin is located in North East Germany it is the centre of the Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan Area, comprising 5 million people from over 190 nations. Geographically it is right in the middle of the European Plains this means it has and is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate. About one third of Berlin's territory is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers and lakes.
Berlin is a known also as a city of culture, politics, media, and science. The economy is focused on the service sector, incorporating a diverse range of industries, media corporations, congress and convention centres. Berlin serves as a hub across Europe for air and rail transport, and is one of the most visited destinations in the EU. The most significant industries include IT, pharmaceuticals, traffic engineering, and renewable energy these are only a few of the many industries found in Berlin.
Berlin is home to over a hundred museums in an area known as Museum Island a World Heritage Site and is found in the northern part of the Spree Island between the Spree and the Kupfergraben. It was designated originally to be a district dedicated to arts and antiquities by royal decree. Subsequently, the Altes Museum Old Museum in German, displays the bust of Queen Nefertiti.
